Virginia Quadrado is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Personal Trainer for elderly people. Her specialties are in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Physical Activity for disabled people, Spine injuries and Neurofunctional activities. She has a Master of Rehabilitation Sciences (University of São Paulo-Brazil), and she is now taking her PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Lisbon, in Portugal. She manages her businesses practices in 3 different countries (USA, Netherlands and Brazil).
She has been involved to Academic Research in Brazil, Colombia, Netherlands, South Africa, and currently in Portugal, researching motor behavior (learning, adaptation, development and performance) in Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy and ordinary people.
She is based in Cascais, Portugal, and manages her patients and clients treating them in their houses or facilities, providing a personal session of exercises and specific activities according to their needs. She has been developing her own methodology based on scientific evidence and she obtains a significant improvement of quality of life by combining techniques such as:
